 HawkBatsType: Paramilitary , Mercenaries Founded On: Year 6 Day 180 Leader: Keram McDlanar IRC Channel: #CMG-HawkBats Description: The beginning of the 6th Year was also a beginning of the HawkBats. At that time a sizable group of members of the Hapes Consortium decided to leave and try out something new. The group consisted of many experienced people, well trained and battle proven. Many of them were officers skilled in commanding space and ground forces. Berin, former Colonel of the Hapan Marine Corps saw a lot of interest in forming an organized mercenary organization from that group of people. Hapan Officers which at that time had just resigned or were planning to resign joined his cause to start a brand new career. These individuals started to work mutually putting together their skills and knowledge to build up a new community, based not only on discipline and rigor, but mostly on friendship and brotherhood, where men and women train together with the aim to become experts in the art of fighting and earn good money on the way. Berin decided to lead the newly formed group and became it's first Warlord. He also managed to find a financial broker to support the faction's process of creation. After some time he retired, leaving the duties and privileges of the Warlord to Aiden Taan. Under new command, HawkBats have undergone a set of serious changes. In just under a year of functioning they have became widely known for their credibility and personnel quality. Today HawkBats are a fully capable mercenary group, providing their clients with services typical for that kind of faction and some newly invented. They remain neutral and open for offers. At the same time they are still developing their structure and looking not only for specialized veterans but also for talented young individuals that don't want to be mere mercenaries... but predators for hire! |
