and her band of pirates hoping to get the 100,000 credit prize. In finances, a
recent flood of raw materials…" The image cracks and breaks, the galactic
news fading out. A distorted voice speaks slowly and the image of two eyes piece
through the screen.
Do not attempt to adjust your set. This is a Streaming Freedom Video bulletin.
The cable hack will last exactly 60 seconds. It cannot be traced, it cannot
be stopped, and it is only of the last free voices in the galaxy.
"A sickness has claimed the galaxy. Darkness covers the galaxy as those
who have been given power to govern the people abuse and pervert their power.
They cast illusions of control and prosperity, as the citizens they govern grow
with unrest. Even the self-proclaimed "rebel alliance" grows fat and
slow, hiding in their hole of the galaxy and refusing to protect the citizens
they proclaim they protect. Now another government has contracted the Imperial
Cancer, its insides riddled by a sickness. The irony is that a lone group of
pirates are the only ones who have fought against the Imperial Cancer. They
killed the man who oversaw the deaths of thousands of Vratix civilians.
The galaxy must stand up for itself. It must suffocate the Imperial throne,
denying all groups who associate with it safe passage, safe haven, and the ability
to rest safely at night. Corporations who deal with the Imperial Cancer are
themselves diseased, and must be banned from spreading themselves and their
products of evil throughout the galaxy. The only power the Emperor has is fear,
and if you don't fear him then he holds no power over you."
The image of the news reporter blinked back into focus, a bewildered look upon
her face. "I'm sorry ladies and gentlemen; we seem to be having technical
difficulties..."
