The priests of Risma have long been known as inquisitors, seekers of truth.  It is the priestly order of Csil, however, best known for dispensing judgment on those the Rismans investigate.

 

Csil, the blue-armored god of Law, Order, and Oaths, is associated with dominion over orthodoxy, conservatives, monarchy, mobility, lawyers, and Justice itself.

 

Now, the question remains:  What is Justice?

 

It is said that Justice is blind, not taking into consideration one's background, race, creed, et cetera.  Alas, the universe does not work that way.  Those are, after all, each factors that make an individual who they are.  Justice is following the spirit of the law, as it was intended when it was written and inspired by the Gods, and following the course of the evidence presented to its conclusion.

 

Justice is swift, it is not drawn out for months in end.  Especially if the reason is just for a public spectacle.

 

If necessary, sending the condemned to face Xo should be quick and painless regardless of how tempting it may be to make them suffer.

 

Justice is the safeguarding of the innocent from those who would do them harm.  

 

Brothers and sisters of the Faith, you are each an instrument of Justice, a tool of Csil to protect the weak and helpless.  

 

Yes, Justice can be harsh.  It can seem cold.  Sometimes that impartiality is needed.  For without Risma's Truth there can be none of Csil's Justice.
