We have banned the following three players for various offenses including collecting inappropriate OOC information about other players, abusing the bug base to gain IC information, instructing players to violate specifically listed rules on the spying rules page (such as not attempting to abuse IRC to gain faction member lists, a very long standing rule), establishing in-faction policies encouraging others to do the same, and continuing some of these practices even after more explicit rules prohibiting them were posted in December.

Damon Phet has been banned for three months.
Lukastar Narvaka has been banned for six months.
Kara DuMonte has been banned for nine months.

I am in particular disappointed in Kara who has done a significant amount of "leading by example" in this regard.
