My handle, Jaq Gori, was banned for having a multi I didn't know existed. Apparently, someone eklse in my area also played the SWCombine, and I did not know about mit. Therefore, I could not have registered as a Multi Account since I did not know I was a Multi.
I've been mailing multi-accounts@swcombine.com for nearly a Half motnh now with nto even so much as a reply. I've just recently started mailing Kyle rainer about it, too. Still, nothing. Do I even get an appeal? I figured that if I wanna get noticed, I need to cause some SERIOUS ruckus first. So, here I am. Ruckusing all the way.
General Question: Who do I need to talk to (that reads their mail) about being unbanned?
The greater the ruckus the less likely you'll be listened to. I think it's quite possible Kyle's away or at least very busy at the moment, I haven't seen him recently. Just wait and someone will answer this post, and possibly move it to where it should have been > Questions for the Admin. Don't go making another post there though.
“The following users were banned for sharing a connection while not being registered as multis:
Kieran Doran
Jaq Gori
They may contact multi-accounts@swcombine.com with additional information.
Syn
Functioning as Redbat's secretary.”
Seems to be quite clear about who you need to contact. If you aren't getting a response, they're probably busy and don't have time to deal with your issue yet.

Yep, you'd be suprised how busy they can get. And causing a ruckus will possibly get you ingored even more. But just to keep you busy while you're complaining, why were you sharing a connection with someone and not registering as a multi?
Ok, If I try and create antoher account, then register it as a multi with BOTH my account and the one that belongs to the other guy (gal, hatever), would THAT be violationg the rules?
It's funny how your the only one complaining about this bane. I have yet to see or hear the other person complain about it as well...Hmm..makes you wonder.

Certain ISPs share IPs amongst users in an area, or even nationally. I believe BT Openworld (or BT Yahoo now?) does it. So, one day, Person A logs on with the IP brownbear.btinternet.com and logs off an hour later. Then, Person B logs on and is assigned the same IP address.
This could be a reason for this person's problem. I know the problem has cropped up on MUDs with no-alt policies.
My point is..only one person is saying to get unbanned and they identified themselves as one person(and this person is a known scammer and thief. Most scammers and thieves have multi accounts, just to gain the profits and turn around and sell them legally as the non scamming handle. That happens alot on other MMOPRGing games, like Runescape.). But where is the so called other person, surely they would be wondering the same thing about not playing.
I know I would be if I was banned.

Ms. Sunnar, I can't answer your question. Nor can I prove that I do not have a multi. But on the other hand, the management can't prove I do. That's where we hit a Road Block. Neither side can prove what they are saying is true or a lie. Hence, you see my predicament.

" Most scammers and thieves have multi accounts,"
I'd like to see the evidence behind that statement.”
How about when my Bayo was scammed from me by a multi.. and it was proven by (keir and Kyle) they were the same, even the friend of the scammer said he owned both accounts.
EDIT:
found the name of the first account..

Jaq, the Admin must have had evidence, or they wouldn't have banned you. If you can offer nothing to refute their evidence, then the case of you being a multi IS proven.

The most evidence that they can possibly have is an IP adress similarity. IP adresses are regularly re-used, as previously stated. That very problem prevented my registration when I was trying to do that. I can dredge up the old thread if you want.
If you can do that, I'm sure that would help greatly - from there it should be easy enough to prove or disprove.
The main obstacle at the moment, aside from that, is that there isn't currently an active multi director. Technically it is still Kyle's job but he's been otherwise occupied lately and hasn't had time to track down a replacement yet.
