What determines how many XPs are given for hyperspace travel? I know that longer journeys give more XPs, but is that because of more time spent in hyperspace, or greater distance travelled?

If no-one knows, then I will probably try some hyperspace journeys at different speeds to see what happens (right now I usually travel as fast as allowed.)

Travel XP are determined by distance, not speed. You get 1 XP for each "square" you travel in hyperspace or sublight, not sure about the formula for atmospheric and ground travel in a ship/vehicle.
