Upon implementation of production we were told, as the rules pages state, that these delays will be removed at a later date such as combats release or if they prove unneccessary.
I was just wondering what the criteria for deciding if there unneccessary actually is considering I haven't noticed the game being flooded from production. The mining and production systems would seem to have compensated for the failure of the last production release.
Of course it may just be that more time needs to pass whilst factions produce for their own needs, and orders that have been made earlier, before they get round to creating stock piles for general sales.
There's no criteria written down for it that 'm aware of. I'd just planned on dashing up a script in the new year that'd spit out how many of what had been produced so far and was being produced at the moment and handing that around to see what people thought. If there wasn't any firm opinion either way the production factions would probably be asked to answer a survey in the leaders forum about their intentions for production over the next 6 months.
