I have noticed ships marked as wrecked all over. How are they wrecked if there is no combat yet?

Either from the recycling beta (though most of those are at one place), past red scenarios (they don't exist now, you don't need to think about them) or possibly from sun death however I don't believe that causes wrecks...at least common sense would say it doesn't.
