1. The Bongo Sub. Majority of us have seen it in Episode I, on Naboo.
Now, that place of the Gungans is swamp area. But the problem is that the Bongo Sub can't function in swampy areas. Terrain Restriction. As a friend Gungan told me, 'that doesnt make much sense'.
2. The Coral Vanda is a ship you can get through CPs. As we know, you can only exchange CPs for vehicles/ships on land. But due to restrictions of the vehicle, you can't place it on land. And due to restrictions of most races, you can't go onto water to place it there. So, does that mean that you can only get it under special circumstances (meaning, either the right race or Amphibian Suit)?

1. It was used from the Gungan underwater cities to access the subterranean ocean, and came up in a river at Theed. It was never actually seen being used in an area that could be considered swamp.
2. A city on the ocean? Fly a ship to a water square, get out, and exchange it there? Exchange it on land, dock it on a ship, fly it to the water?

1. That's correct, yes, but our Naboo doesn't have any ocean. As 'fluid' it merely has 'swamp'.
2. Getting out on a water square would negate the terrain restriction of most races, and exchanging it on land would negate the terrain restriction of the boat. I mean, if it says you can't go there because of the restrictions, and yet you can... then that doesn't make a lot of sense.
Technically, the terrain restriction prevents you from MOVING on such terrain. Not from standing on it. Personally, I've stood on the surface of a gas giant. Which is also the only way to make a city on one. It might not make much sense, but it's required for game mechanics.
In the same way, you can consider it the boat being in dry dock. Or maybe you stepped off the ramp of the ship onto the top of the boat? Who knows. I mean, it's the CP-exchange, so we're talking about something simply appearing out of thin air in the first place!

Hmm. Well, even though it makes little sense as you say, the question was answered, so thank you.
So theoretically, you could also stand on volcanic areas without anything happening? Wicked.
Only the thing with Naboo would be open, but that belongs somewhere else, I assume.
Right now, terrains and atmospheres don't actually do any damage, anyhow, so yes, you can stand on the lava (on a planet lacking an atmosphere, even) and not get hurt.
