I can't seem to be able to use a handle that works, I'm trying to sign up, but it keeps saying that the handle does not match your rules and requirements. I even used names generated from your random name generator, and I can't get it to let them through.

What can I do?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Guest, It has to be a "Real" name. These are stright from the RULES

“Your handle must include a first name and a last name. ”

“You may not include any special character or number in your handle:
Forbidden: " $ % = / * _ + .0 1 2 ... 9 or whatever
Allowed: the blank space, ' and - are allowed: Luke Night, R'ad Boy, Peter-Notting Hill ”

“You must use a full first and last name:
Forbidden: Mewkewbacca, Lankguss, Nekara, Qaaien ”

It has to sound like the actual name of a person that you might encounter (in the Star Wars universe). That's what is meant by "real". It's not just a login name for the site, it's going to be what your character is called. If you think "Shadow Run" sounds like a person's name, then you can try it. The Admin might accept it, or they may not.

In terms of the Combine's random name generator, there were updates made to the handle acceptance conditions after the name generator was created, and the name generator has not been fixed. Therefore it can sometimes suggest names that are not allowed under the current rules.

Guest: Follow the link in Trent's post. It clearly states the rules and includes examples of valid and invalid handles. Reading the rules is a very important aspect of the Combine, and until you read and understand them you may want to hold off on joining.

Also Guest, I tried the SWC Random Gen and not once did i come up with a name like Shadow Run or something of the like and while it may be possible its not really Broken
