just wondering how droids effect one's character

say a droid has diplomacy level2, if i have that in my party will i get the diplomacy bonus when hiring NPCs?

They function the same way as NPCs do at the moment, so the NPC/droid having a skill only applies it to the NPC/droid and doesn't do anything useful yet.

Goes for all NPC/Droid/Item functions. They do not give bonuses of any type yet.
