Zenchi Senkusha	Statement:Pirates don't have any good ships to Properly do Pirating. Fact: Pirates Disable their victoms ship, board and take the loot. Fact: To disable a ship you need an Ion Cannon on your ship. Fact: Only the GE, HC and RA have any ships with more then 8 ion Cannons (which is the Guardian, which is Rare) (disregarding the few one time made flagships) Fact: Among the three Fighters avaible to the public that have Ion Cannons, one is a Rare, one has a single ion cannon, and only the third has two. Pirates will be ill-equiped to do pirating once Combat comes out. This should at the very least be thought upon and looked into. Some extra explaining for anyone not an admin who wants to respond in any critique...I'll explain in full extereme detail becuase your too much of an idiot to think this through. (yes I'm speaking mainly of those people who responded when this was in "Messege Centre" and no just becuase you've played in darkness longer then I have does not mean you know jack) --- The very basis of prite life is to capture vessel between major systems by threatening or disabling those ships. Threatening rarely works in Cannon and would never work in Darkness becuase Traffic is done by PC's which is far lower then in Canon. PC's know Pirates have much less to steal from and to make any money at all they have to capture any and all vessels or at least a vast majority of them...So any sane PC will call that bluff and attempt escape. Canon Pirates, because ships in Cannon never had that many Ion Cannon's would often modify their ships. Becuase this is not a possibility at the current time the only other solution is probably to fulfill the gap with a ship with such capabilities or a "junky" ship like the X-ties (which are indeed modified ships to the extreme). --- There is a Gap in the Economical Web for Darkness. There's simply no Logical way to say there isn't. However I'm not saying I know the solution. I can ask that somone look into it and weigh my suggestions along with some thoughts of their own Thank you

I'd like a few spaces in response for thedefense of my ideas that Mr. Trent has so very kindly Flamed “And thats why we don't have Combat yet. Nowhere do I see you saying anything about the natural balance of the Game needed. According to your logic it means Modifing Ships and Items should be a high Priority becuase in Cannon that's excactly what happens a lot of the time. Read any Star Wars book with pirates in it. Secound Pirates don't target Fighters. Are you kidding me. Fighters hold one to two people and have enough storage space for Emergency supplies. But wait, Who pilots fighters, why a pilot in a Navy of some kind, or once recently was. So why would a pirate be hitting a Fighter unless it was out for revenge? 99.9% of Fighters are with their fleet or on escort duty...in which case the pirates would destory the fighters and diable the frieghter. “ROTFLMFAO! Darkness needs a good balance between staying as close to Canon and creating a stable electronic enviroment. I would suggest somone like your self who loves to flame new people to SWC, which is a small part of the Star Wars community, not to bring your personal bias into this. If anything I would think the Rules of conduct would not allow deliberate Flaming and insults...so if anyone should be banned it should be you. No one is above being courteous. But anyways back to the main subject. Please, and no more Flaming.
