This thing has been bothering me for about 3-4months at least.
Under the faction link on my sidebar, I have a another link labeled "Administration", but whenever I go to click it, it gives me a message saying I dont have the proper status.
Its not a huge deal, but if someone could either remove it, or let me join the rules team(hint) thatd be a big help.
People listed as team members [community team, in your case] get the Administration link because that's where special tools that the various teams use are located. There aren't any tools available to a community team member, though, so it's just a peculiarity of how the teams and tools are set up that you get the link when there aren't any tools available.
It could be recoded to only provide the link if there's something to see, but that is less likely to happen than not, because it isn't affecting anything.
____________
I dare you to make less sense.
Are you a newbie, or do you have access to newbies?
One of my Descriptions Team members recently complained about that. Basically, if you're just a team member (not a team leader or director) then it does nothing. It basically serves as something always there no matter what to remind you they you're still on the team(s). Just ignore it.
No, Phryss is correct; anyone with a team level that has access to tools will have options at that link. That level is not necessarily restricted to leader/director. Instead, it depends on the specific options available to each team. It is possible for team members to have tools as well, if they are members of a team with tools for the member access level.
