I have a strange problem with Combine. When I try to look at a city map I can see oonly black square in a place where should be this map. Same goes with other maps. What is interesting, when I opened SW Combine on IE (older version, not sure which one) everything was all right, I saw all the maps for the first time :>
I use Firefox 2.0.0.3.
DO you have any hints what is wrong with my browser? Because I guess it must be FF fault.
//EDIT\\
Problem solved.
Solution:
removing ALEXA TOOLBAR helped.
Yes, I have AdblockPlus but I'm sure it doesn't block SWC images. I started playing SWC 1.5 month ago (I wasn't able to see any maps then too) and I installed Adblock like 1 week ago.
Turning AdblockPlus off doesn't work, same as other addons I have:
AdBlockPlus 0.7.5.1
British English Dictionary 1.19
ImageShack right-click 0.3.6
Hmm I dont know if it is important, but I changed my browser like 3 weeks ago (from FF 1.5.x.x to FF 2.0.0.3). But before and after the change I wasn't able to see any maps (except main galaxy map).
Mmm, Clear your Cache, Disable AdBlock, Wipe your Cookies and give it another go. If that doesn't do it make sure you don't have any online accleraters such as the Google one running because they can do stupid stuff like that.
what does your position bar tell you? i want to check if the co-ords are valid. I got stucj in vacuum on a non existant planet on dev and i just showed a black screen under the blue bar.

I can always see my position with all correct coordinates (but currently im in hyper). I can also travel etc all those things but I dont see the map so each time I have to guess where the gravity well ends :s
hmm. Could you get the HTML source of a system or plane Galaxy Map page (Right Click > View Source) and upload it somewhere or mail it to khan@swcombine.com please?
The source has some HTML in it that should only appear for IE users and that is causing the black maps. I've added some debug to the HTML. Could you get the HTML source for one of those pages again please?
cstr_Browser = Internet Explorer

That's what it is reporting your browser as. It could well be the Alexa Toolbar causing the problems. Did you install that intentionally?
