I was wondering if there is any current way to change ship stats without having to wait until modifications or R&D are implemented.

Half of me wants to simply know, the other wants me to have the cool cloakshape tai`to customized throughout his SWD20 life.

I just keep hearing about ships with above or below average stats and i am mighty curious about where they came from.

Yes, ships were modified through red scenarios and community games in the past, and quite a few ships with mods were also awarded as prizes.
