Am I wrong (as usual) that the NPC Brawlers and NPC Medics can be purchased and used to "train" for XP by fighting the Brawler and then getting patched up by the Medic?
Yes, Nester, medics can be used for healing. It costs a small sum of credits (a few hundred, I believe) each time they heal you, but your health regenerates over time, so it is usually unnecessary unless your character HP is too low to defeat a brawler the maximum number of times it can brawl without getting patched up in between.
It depends on how much HP you have. Medics heal a random amount of your HP, it can be from 10%-100% of your HP. If you have like 30 HP, it might be worth it (healing costs you between 200-250 credits), but after a certain level, it is not worth it, since you regenerate your HP in a fast pace anyway.
Not to mention that the higher your level, the harder you hit (I somehow noticed that), and the less HP you lose since you do more / receive less damage.
However, a small word of advice, if you know that you are going to lose a fight, don't fight to the end. All it will do is take away a round where you can fight per day, and you won't gain anything besides shame to have lost a fight against a NPC.
And before you ask, nothing influences how much XP you get when fighting a NPC. It can be a wookiee, a Gamorrean, or even an Ewok or Selkath, you still get a random number of XP per win. So if you are out for making lots of XP with brawling (I believe I've made something 1500 XP throughout the 2 years), go for those with lower HP, as they are easier to beat. If however you're in it for the fun and challenge, go for the big guys. Don't want to advertise here, so I won't.
