Year 8 Day 259 11:39	Problems Logging in
Guest/Visitor	I am registered in the Combine, my name is Ryan Roche and from this computer only, I can't login. I can login from my laptop, but when I login here, I don't get a "Handle or Password incorrect" message, I put in the right pass and name and the page just reloads, and doesn't let me in. I tried rebooting a couple of times, and deleting all my cookies and Internet files and nothing. I even reset my modem, but it won't work. What should I do?

Syn	Have you tried all of the suggestions in the sticky thread in this forum, including logging on using the Firefox browser? ____________

Ryan Roche	Yes, but only now I could login, using Firefox, unknown reason cause my last attempt failed. I can't have both IE7 open and FireFox, isn't there a solution for this problem? ____________ ~Ryan

Togan Jano	What do you mean, you can't have both Firefox and IE7? Usually those two browsers don't interfere. If you are talking about being logged into SWC on both browsers at the same time, then there is no way around this, as it's one of SWC's many security features. Unfortunately, we can't really find out why sometimes IE doesn't seem to like the SWC cookies/login script, thus the only fix that always works is to use Firefox. ____________

Ryan Roche	No, I have both IE7 and FireFox opened now, on IE I'm not logged in, and in FF I am. It's not that convenient to have them both open, but I guess there is nothing we can do. /: ____________ ~Ryan

Togan Jano	You don't have to have both browsers open at the same time. Since FF is superior to IE in any way, it should be enough to satisfy your browsing needs :) ____________
