::Forum - I can't seem to join the Chat.

Year 8 Day 278 13:13	I can't seem to join the Chat.
Xortyph LoKebo	When I click on "Chat" under the Community menu I see "No access to IRC client, no problem, with this simple java program you can access the Combine's chat server.". There is nothing else for me to click on to run any kind program/script. I get the same thing when I click on the linc supplied by Syn: HTTP://www.swcombine.com/community/chat/java.php. I turned windows firewall off before trying to load the Java script, no joy. What do I need to do to get access to SWC-chat? Thanx, Xortyph LoKebo ____________ Only the dead know the end of war.

Syn	Provided you have java properly installed and your browser has it enabled you should at least be able to see something on the page. Otherwise, you might want to consider downloading a separate client for this; mirc (www.mirc.com) is the most common. ____________

Xortyph LoKebo	On the Java chat screen I see what looks like the top of a(n) MSN Window that has a red dot to the left, Java chat in title , max screen and exit icons to the right. Below that are some emoticons, some annimated. ____________ Only the dead know the end of war.
