Being a newb, I read the guide as you do about planetary movement. But the guide says there should be a terrain and cross-terrain buttons, instead there are the city and planet buttons. All good so far...they forgot to update the guide I tell myself, the city button works fine just like the "terrain" one described in the guide, but when I want to move to a new planetary block(it's still a city so no restrictions apply) the planet button just displays info about the whole planet, not allowing me to do any planetary travel.(my character is on foot)
Is this a bug(or maybe not implemented), or am I not doing things right?!
You have to be on the cities edge bordering the planetary block you want to travel to for the cross-terrain button to appear. So if you want to move to the block east of you, you need to move to the east edge of the city you're in. If you want to travel to the north-east block from you , you have to be on the north-east corner of the city you're in.
The City button and terrain button are the same thing, the name just changes depending on whether your in a city or empty terrain grid.
