I am trying to learn the controls of this game. I went to the shop and bought a workers jumpsuit. Now how the heck do I equip it? Before anyone tells me to go read the rules. I have and tis is what that says:

1. 2 How to Use Items
You may only use a maximum of 1 item in each Carrying Position, anything else must be carried in a backpack or on a belt. If an item is in a position and it's status is not "contained" then it is being used. You will have the choice of changing items you are currently using but some Positions are not available when using certain items eg. When wearing suit type armor you cant wear anything in the Head

Perhaps I am an idiot, but this does not tell me HOW to equip it. I have played around with Assigning it to myself, making myself the commander, and I think that I have looked at all the options under manage items assigned to me.

What am I missing?

Go to the position interface, press items. Assuming you haven't left the facility without it, you should be able to see the suit there, and equip it.

HMMM... that seemed to have worked. It seems so simple now.
