Hi there, I've a problem with logging into the Combine, but my case is somewhat tricky -
I travel between the UK and Singapore, spending almost equal periods of time in each country... now I've got no problems logging in while in the UK, but I get this message on the login page when I try to get in while in Singapore:
“Your session expired. Please log in again.”
To get round it, I have to first connect to my college VPN before logging into SWC. That works, but it's horrendously slow and since I'm no longer a student there, I won't be able to use this solution for much longer.
I've tried clearing cookies, accepting cookies, using Firefox, IE and Opera, but none of those work.
This has happened before about a year ago, and a fellow Singaporean player told me that it was something attributed to our ISP. But that has since been fixed and I have, for a while, been able to log in normally while I was stationed in Singapore, before I returned to the UK.
Recently upon my return to Singapore, I find this error popping up again and I'm not sure if it's anything you can do, but I'll really appreciate if you could look into it... I'll try to provide whatever additional information you may need.
It looks like someone took a look at your account in the past since it's got some cases specific to your handle so that it reverses your IP. I've turned on debug information for your account so it'll send me any logins you make. Try and login a few times (I'm guessing you're still in Singapore?) and I'll see what comes up.
I'm not sure what they were doing trying to reverse your IP, that certainly wouldn't have solved it. I've bypassed one of the security checks for your account so you should be able to login without issue now.
