I know this would be a stretch because it wouldnt constitute a real news story but I will ask anyway.
I have started a Ultimate fighting championship in the Gambling Hut. My intentions are for it to grow to a point where I could ask the gods to make it a part of the combine such as Deathmatches which is similar but does not use any skill based statistics as I do.
I wanted to ask at the moment if it would be possible to do a story on the GNS to get it 'out there' as a lot of people I have spoken to never go in the Gambling Hut. Maybe it could be done as an interview type story.
I have had positive feedback buy those that have checked it out, and I even run a trial version for free to make sure people thought it made sense and worked well.
As I stated above, I dont want this to be a flash in the pan, I have grand plans for it in the combine. I have even asked for a image to be created of a championship belt that i can get authorised that will go to the winner.
I don't think that something of this nature can be posted on the GNS. It is in no way related to faction or general events that transpire in the combine. As for a lot of people not visiting the gambling hut, that is incorrect. There are multiple posts made everyday.
You are correct in stating that it can be posted and that an info faction is the best place to go to get it done, but no info faction is likely to do so since it is in no way directly related to SWC.
I don't understand why you would say that an IC fighting tournament is not directly related to SWC or fit for posting on the GNS.
It is very unlikely that such a player-run IC tournament would ever be officially supported or integrated into the SWC client, though. You're on your own, but the GNS is a perfectly fine resource to use.

I dare you to make less sense.
Are you a newbie, or do you have access to newbies?
Well, okay I guess I am wrong about the GNS thing. The reason for my thinking was that I thought if it would not be integrated into the client then it would not be fit for GNS posting, but seeing as that is apparently incorrect I would like to wish you the best of luck in your attempts with this event and trying to get it posted on the GNS
