I have a regular question.



“1/ You May Not

Fake any game behaviour in order to hide or change your current in-game status. For example, you may not use a Star Destroyer custom picture for your Ugly or unarmed freighter. Similarly, you may not use an avatar picture showing you are under arrest if you are not. ”




“2/ You May

Spread false information about yourself or another group/person for any reasons. ”



So, if I started posting in various forums areas (Ie Problem Center, Trader's Lounge) that I am arrested, would that be allowed or forbidden? It is, after all, faking game behavior, but it is also spreading false information?
And the example with the avatar picture showing one is under arrest if they are not, isn't that, too, spreading false information?

You can tell people you are arrested as much as you like, you cannot fake the game's arrested graphic in your avatar.

You are not allowed to falsely represent yourself in the Darkness client. You can do/say anything you want out of Darkness.

You can make what claims you want. You can't try to manipulate the game options to appear to be someone or something you are not.

yep if someone doesn't know that avatars have an arrested skin pasted over them, then I don't see any harm in telling them you're arrested when your avatar is still normal. Ignorance is not an excuse

Well Pozz, although arrested people do have an "under arrest" avatar above theirs, it does not show in the forums, or in DMs, you can only see it when you are in the same room / city / surface as the character in question.

With dead people it's even worse, because there is no avatar indication, just a lack of an HP bar.

So to repeat what I said, words are okay, anything besides words is not?

If that is so, then ok, thanks.
