3.750 active members today we are soon 4000 out here or are we? How is the true active member statistics measured? I always wondered that. What is the actual active player numbers for swc can that be figured out somehow? If there are 3.750 active members out here as in they log in everyday and play the hell out of the place or as in the majority log in one time each week or as in one time per month or every second month, how is it with the member calculator? I am curious as we got 22 Governments now and about 150+ factions and each Faction needs like 5 members to be legal and the same goes for Governments I guess after creation of 12 active members or have I been misinformed? I wonder cause if it is this many true swc fanatics what a fantastic place!
Opens a bottle of Pommac to celebrate the 2 years stay with his trusted wife at SWC. Clear skies to you all
Yes two years it is almost sad, main bulk of the people that introduced me to SWC is gone today, gone due to one reason or another, but hey in 11 years or so we may have to notify the multi-account department again and do this all over again, then we will have to add another one to our multi-account as our daughter will be 12 by then. Soon (TM)
The active members field in the header counts members who have logged in in the past 7 days. The total number of accounts in the database is currently sitting at 38,989.

I dare you to make less sense.
Are you a newbie, or do you have access to newbies?
Then it begins to make sense, average is 250+ members online 24/7 thank you Ms. Sunnar, Phryss, Wilhelm you’ll all been most helpful, let’s hope that the 38,989 accounts doesn’t opens up at the same time, I fear for another server crash as it is.
- Traffic jam in space good lord. Double backups his Inventory #ID numbers! -
Oh my goodness no.... shivers by the very thought of that happening! Follows Talak's example as we are on separate computers and in separate rooms we still have this lan connection between us and save all #IDs seems to be a very good idea and back that up with printed copies. Hey you guys have been around a while as well, I guess you already done that. Two years out here and still learning.
I guess why we still are around, nothing is served on a silver plate, and it is all momma bears home made cookie’s out here.
“I guess why we still are around, nothing is served on a silver plate, and it is all momma bears home made cookie’s out here.”
You bet ma'am and Mr. Bianchi that is impressive indeed, talking about dedication. :o
“What is the limit under the current hardware?”
A very good question I mean someday Combat may be out and then for sure there will be more members buzzing around almost as sure as the sun comes up in the morning. And with Inventory 2.0 in the horizon maybe even that will make more people interested.
"The active members field in the header counts members who have logged in in the past 7 days. The total number of accounts in the database is currently sitting at 38,989"
is that accounts or characters? is there a difference?
may be a bit of a noob question but I've done searches for characters I know are dead and their character shows as not logging in since y9 day 68 etc.
Does this mean there's no way for us to tell if a character is inactive as opposed to dead? I imagine then that there are even more characters then the 38,989 Pryss mentioned (unless that's the amount of characters and not accounts) as I'm sure some of these characters that are dead and I can till search have started new characters by now??
