I am having a problem moving a safe. I'm in the room with it and some other stuff. All of the other things have "equip" options but the safe does not. I can not stow the safe in anything and then move it, I've tried. I'm not holding anything in my hands so that is not the problem. And I'm not getting any error messages saying I'm doing something wrong. I've talked to the guy I'm picking the safe up for and he has no ideas either. He made the safe over to me and that didn't work either, right now I'm just assigned to it. Any ideas?

Initial thought is that perhaps you have insufficient strength to pick it up, and would need a grav sled.

Thanks for the tip. I had no idea about that. A grav sled fixed the problem but thanks for the advice.

I know it's a bit late.. but I was going over the problem centre and this is a fairly common question on mIRC to the safe producing faction and I though it deserved more clarification for future searches.

About the safes -
click
[manage][character]

Hover your mouse over the word strength in the General skills table and you'll see a description about strength.

From that description , you need strength 5 to be able to lift a 130kg safe un-aided, and strength 1 to use an AG sled.

And you also have the option to tractor beam them between entities.
