Syn	New factions do not receive unique datacards. New medical factions, for example, will also receive the same medical item datacards that all of the others have. A new ship faction, on the other hand, will not receive ship datacards because they are already distributed and can only be built by 1-2 factions each. You would need to buy datacard uses off existing factions. ____________

Elif Ban	Thanks for the answer Syn, Given the cost of a new ship faction it does not seem very fair to put them at the mercy of other factions who may or may not want to share thier DC or who may charge prices for the use of thier dc that put the new shipyard at a competitive disadvantage. Simply because they were formed years ago should not give older faction an advantage that new ones don't have. New ship factions should have DC's so they can produce and later do research. It seems very one sided, and slanted toward older players and puts me off wanting to start my own faction.
