Gideon, I believe I've heard of newbies having several Faction HQ Spawn Points though I'm not 100% on that one.

If a faction has enough members to support multiple HQ's and those HQ's are powered and assigned to the faction they will all appear as options to spawn at for faciton members who have yet to choose their location.

What I am asking is, if you build a "100 flat Skyscraper" to meet the Faction start up requirement, can you then use it as a "spawn point" or do you need to build the HQ useing the datacard for that?
Are there any other Buildings that can be used as a "spawn point"?

Your "100 flat Skyscraper" is converted to a HQ facility upon faction creation. So yes, you can use that.

I would have hated to find out the hard way when the ER of a major City took a nose dive when a 100 Skyscraper suddenly turned into a Faction HQ building. *shock*
