Several of my NPCs have been arrested. I am currently at the same coordinates as one of them and there are no other PCs, enemy or otherwise, in the area. What exactly is keeping the NPC arrested? Why do I not have the option of freeing my own NPCs (that I can find)?
Dont quote me, but wasn't there a thread somewhere in here about that? It was a bug, that displaid the arrester as ( ) (just the space in the brackets.
Also, if a faction were to dissolve, all arrested (N)PC's, would be released, so if that is the case anything otherwise is a bug. Yes I know, surprising, I have read some of the rules ;)
Most of this is directed at Mr. Ismay's question, concerning arrested and NPC's
____________
"Rescue the president, Rescue the hostages, disarm the terrorists..."
"Rescue the president, Rescue the hostages, disarm the terrorists..."
"Rescue the terrorists, disarm the president, and kill the hostages..."
"Disarm the hostages
Too bad that doesn't happen very often. The best thing would be a way to free arrested PCs and NPCs if you're at their location and their arrestor is not.

I use and support quote-unquote use and support banners.
It has never been implemented because the development team hasn't chosen to implement it, obviously. That's all it comes down to.
People have been complaining about arrest/executes many flaws since it was released and nothing has come of it yet or is likely to do so till someone disposes of it with combat. Just be happy you've apparently managed to live happily ignorant of one of those flaws for so long.
Perhaps freeing NPCs is considered a combat action.
However, detaining an NPC,on the street/ground and just leaving it doesnt seem very good.
I'd like to see prisons used.NPCs dumped in prisons are stuck there until combat.NPCs on the ground could be freed by owner or faction members with right priv.Almost like hunting for Easter Eggs....who can say that is not fun?
Unfortunately, what I see happening is ALL arrested NPCs will be executed on the spot -_-
That's kind of where I'd like to see it go myself, Xavze. Not necessarily even a prison, though. I've got one NPC that was detained some time ago and he's stuck on a Dreadnaught somewhere. Just leaving an NPC where he/she stands doesn't make any sense, especially where stun cuffs are not necessary.
