I've read vague references to moving a planet or system. Is that possible? Under what circumstances could that happen?

It happens when someone notices that a planet or system is not canon. They then research everything and make a thread in the Galaxy Suggestions forum. The faction owners of the planet/system have to agree to the changes, and then the Galaxy Director has to agree and then make the changes.
