How do you buy ships with CP points, I look at the CP screen and it only allows me to make my CP points into credits

To trade for ships and vehicles you have to be on the planet surface, outside of a facility. once there, you will see the option in the same exchange menu.

Credits, Ships and Vehicles are now implemented.

that is all it says, wether I am in space or on a planet...I click on the amount of CP I have under my name then I click exchange Cp...Then I get what is said above, then the option to change CP into credits...

You have to be on the surface of a planet, not in any ship, vehicle, or facility for anything beyond art, custom items, or credits.
