Actually, I'm still working on the auto-update feature (it's more tricky than I thought :/).

Kendall probably has some other add-on that allows him to override the compability settings (as am I, the add-on is named MR Tech Toolkit).

Search the internet, there are two keys to add to Firefox config that disable the compatibility check. Then your old extension will work very fine.
