I have read over the manual for ground travel but the map in the bottom half of the screen is completely black and im unable to move to the city command centre. i recently exited the centre but cannot enter any shops or anything else. i cant work it out.

SWC is quite buggy at the moment after some of the core code was upgraded. Expect your problem to be fixed as soon as possible by the devs.
