I just started the game, and I started in the Zeltros spaceport. How do I get out of here?

You can either use NPC transport to move to another planet with nothing more to do than where you are or:

a. Join a faction and get them to pick you up and give you work and an income

b. Spawn a ship using CP's by banner clicking so you can start trying to make your own way.

Most of the options are in the guide (at the top of the screen)

If you want to leave the building, click the position link on the sidebar. On the new page, click the [Travel] button under the main screen, then scroll down a little. You should see an [Exit] button on the left. Click that and confirm and you are outside the building.
