Is it harder (requires more skill) to install a lock on a Capital Ship then a regular Freighter? It appears I failed 3 times to install a lock (didn't receive HP loss either) on a Capital Ship, while on my freighter I successfully installed all the locks on my first try. It's not upgrading, just installing a standard lock.

There is nothing in the rules, and nothing has been said by the devs. I would guess that its just bad luck.

I have not built any on a capital, but on the freighters sometimes I have trouble, 2-3 times.

In my experience, it's no harder in a Cap than in a lesser ship. Just luck of the draw
