Below are the following equations for Atmosphere Travel:

Ship/Vehicle Speed: Max speed for ships = 10 *(sublight speed) km/h. Max speed for vehicles = vehicle's speed
Distance:
Time to Move: Distance / Speed

Why would there be an equation for distance as that is a constant.

Just look at how long it takes you to travel from one area to another and transpose the formula. To make it easier though you need to do it in a zero skill ship/vehicle to eliminate the skill modifier to travel times.

so anyway distance = time * speed
