Archives » Combat NPC question - changes? Bug?
Daehd Moroz

I've just hired some Meele Combat Troopers and I've never seen something like this before:

A Level 1 Ewok Meele Combat Trooper having 40 hp ?!

Never seen anything like this before, all my Ewoks had like 17 or 18 hp in the past.

So is this a bug or something has been changed?

If it's a change, it should be done across the board for all furballs, not just the new ones (mah fighting furballs have between 21 & 25 HPs)

Daehd Moroz

Agree 100%, though I am waiting for a response from the developers or whoever knows something about this.

Currently, I have obtained a Wookiee Meele Combat Trooper with like 70 HP, wow, the maximum HP I've seen is 40-44 for Level one.

IF it's a real change then new characters also receive doubled HP.

Eshini`el Sandhawk

This is a very important issue.

I have 3 gammorrean builders with zero experience and 82hp, 1 noghri builder with 72hp. All of the new NPCs have increased health points.

This means that our characters are relatively two, three times(or more) weaker hp-wise, because NPCs are stronger.

What happens with thousands of combat NPCs recruited before health points change? Many of them got much of player`s attention and time spent in training them.

Everybody will get doubled HP when Sin comes back.

Eshini`el Sandhawk

Thanks Clarr!

So the inflated hp values I've seen in Test Character Creation are not a bug?

Eshini`el Sandhawk

Salis it depends on how inflated they were. If around double then it isn`t a bug.

Dev team was working on ground combat recently and balancing stuff, one of the result is that HPs are doubled.

"Hey, there, Mike, what's up? Not much, just hanging around. Say, I saw this cool the ad the other fo- Oh, sweet Ara! Ahhhrrrgg!! Ahhhhh! My hand - it's mutating! I- AH! Damn you, Sin!!"

Talk about a growth spurt...

Sin and Clarr just cast Barkskin on everyone in the galaxy.

Did something really happen? My NPCs are at the same HP as they were yesterday

Only newly hired NPCs have the new HP (probably newly creating characters too). Once Sin gets back it looks like he will run a script to update all NPCs and PCs health that were around before this change.
