I never really investigated a starport rooms but if this floor plan I have is still correct it should be on 3rd floor. Third square up from entrance, and then lifts (the little white square with an arrow in a corner of a square) all the way up to cockpit. If its not right just try to look into everyroom in the facility till you find your droid.

You can mouse over the rooms to show what position it is (ie 2, 4) and ID#, so if the Cockpit is not where Lilith said it will save you having to search every room (if this is not helpful then ah apologies for wasting your time in having to read this)
Thank you for your answer, though i am sorry to say, it is not very helpful.
I have been already walking around in the starport and have searched
every corner of it.
The floor plan, i have learned, is a bit different from yours:
Above the entrance, there is the command room,
and above the command room there i see nothing.
Maybe i have no access to the third floor. Is there somebody, who can
confirm this?
Are you sure you are in the right starport too? Maybe thats why its not there.
And maybe, it might be docked inside of a ship inside the starport. I have few stuff that show up like that, they are docked inside freighter inside a capital ship, but the freighter doesn't show up on the location in inventory.
If a room is deleted (or a building's roommap changed) then all entities (items/droids/NPCs/characters) in that building are generally moved to the entrance room of the new layout, so it shouldn't be able to disappear in that way.
Based on the fact that it says Cockpit I would say that it would be in a docked vehicle or ship in that starport - but usually in that case it would say docked in that ship or vehicle, not in the startport. I'd be tempted to say its a bug and politely ask an ASim either in IRC if you can catch one or through the support tickets to take a look at it (supply the id of your droid at least) and see if they can determine if its in teh wrong place or the right.
The information from the inventory is correct, as it always gives you the top level container entities where the entity is stored in (in this case, it gives you the starport's location).
Thanks to all, who take at least 1 min to think about the problem. Now i can resolve it by myself:
As Gravnkev Forestwanderer mentioned, the droid is in a vehicle, which is docked in the hangar bay of the starport.
