“Experience points will be earned by performing usual actions like moving, travelling, selling, etc. ”


How is travel XP calculated? Is it based on the distance traveled, or on the time spent traveling? (Or some other calculation.)

If it were based on distance, then Speed skill would be beneficial. (ie: you can travel further in a day than someone without Speed skill points.)

It it's based on time spent traveling though, then Speed would seem to be detrimental to travel XP. (ie: you have to log in more frequently to start your character moving again.)

Thanks for any clarification on this. :)

XP for Traveling is about equal to SQR((Xstart - Xend)2 + (Ystart - Yend)2)

Then things like ascending and descending are a set XP value.
