It's not immediate but my question is how does a faction purchase shiprights for a ship who doesn't have any affiliations? The reasoning behind it is one of my friends wants to reserve it for his faction to be to use.
If there is no affiliation listed, they cannot be produced by any factions, and will be unable to be produced until R&D has been implemented. A lot are ex-CP ships, whereas others are just rare ships that were gifted by the admins a long, long time ago.
Its value is 0 because the tool to calculate RMS is broken. Since there will only be one of that ship, it didn't matter as it won't be produced. Or at least by the time it might be, the tool will be fixed and a correct value will be in place.
The SB-1 was due to be removed the game for almost a year, the waiting on of a new image for the Fairwind was the only reason it was around as long as it was.
If you want to build ships for your faction, you have to contact the DC holder(s) and work out a rental plan (that is currently the only way to produce things now if your faction wasn't around during the DC give-aways)
Picture the rules page for the DCs. Right, got it? Excellent. Now forget everything on that page - its pretty much useless. Bar the custom image bit, though incedentally its bugged and broken so really even that is not useful at the moment.
