::Forum - Why do I have a message?

Year 13 Day 145 8:40	Why do I have a message?
T`Saya Startraveller	I don't have a character yet (still waiting on name review), yet I keep getting the 'envelope' icon flashing yellow, as if I have a message. I click on it, and all I can view is the error/warning message saying I need a character to send and receive messages. The flashing disappears, but it comes back a few page-loads later. So . . . any suggestions on what to do about this 'message' I supposedly have?

Vip Fortuna	My advise: ignore it. Your name will be approved within a few hours anyway. I will try to doublicate that error on our second server and file a bug-report for you in case it happens there as well. Oh, and welcome to SWCOMBINE :-) ____________

Year 13 Day 146 18:40	Why do I have a message?
T`Saya Startraveller	Great, now I have two messages I can't read. Wonder if one of them has to do with why my name apparently got rejected. Will I be able to read my messages when I finally have a character, or will the messages get cleared upon character creation?
