Ellias Aubec	Tiali, how would joining the empire help in trying to get into the new republic? That makes no sense. Anyway, you'd want to talk to someone in the new republic, either messaging one of the people or join their IRC channel and talk to someone there. ____________

Ellias Aubec	Best bet is to contact one of the people listed as a recruitment liason in the NRs faction listing - they will then be able to answer any questions you have about that faction and how it operates. ____________

Ellias Aubec	Whether they did it to you or not, this forum is for helping players not trying to bias them to one faction or another. Simply saying that you had issues yourself is fine; going on to then state that this is typical behaviour is not. For all we know there are other circumstances that caused you to be forgotten/ignored: maybe you never talked to them so they didn't know you were active, maybe you were constantly rude to them and demanding things causing them to get annoyed with you, maybe the person you were dealing with went inactive for whatever reason, maybe your messages just honestly got overlooked and you never sent another one. ____________

In any case, if Trye wants, I can have someone look back to the records of his application and the correspondence to see what happened at the time. Heck, I'll likely have someone do it anyways so that if a mistake was made, we can fix it. But even though recruiting and the academy are not at all part of my role in the NR, I do watch this and the other new player forums to look for anyone that gets lost that is trying to join the NR. We try to have a safety net in place in case of issues. Sometimes messages get lost or missed or go-unanswered, so we try to prevent that as best we can. If people are struggling, and aren't getting anywhere with the listed liasons, feel free to bug me as well, and I'll make sure the right people are aware of the situation. ____________ I hate pointless signatures

Trye Rillus	Ive dropped scince. Here is specificly what they did; they decided I was some sort of securaty threat (My first toon ever, by the way), kicked me from the faction and left me there. Considering the only people I had spoken to were them, and the guy who sold me my ship (which I could not reach at the time.)
