I was just flying around and crossed terrain but my ship did it in half the time (30 minutes). Is this something new that I missed or did something bug or what?

Uh, 30 mins is the normal minimum time to cross terrain.

Really? As every other time I've crossed terrain with the same or different ship it has always been an hour exactly

Any ship with at least 50 sublight speed crosses terrain in half an hour.
