How many sysat t-24's would it take to cover and entire deep space system? Assuming there are no other ships or stations and it is empty...
Im not sure how the sensor rating of 8 comes into play, is that 8 squares in every direction?

It takes 9 set up in a square (if you want to see every single location in the system).

It used to require 9. Then the sensor rules got changed, and sensors now cover a greater area, so only 4 is needed.
