I've read the rules page and I understand the calculation that determines whether or not you find a deposit from prospecting.

What I don't fully understand is does the rules calc run every time you prospect, I've been told different things by different people.

I've been told that once a tile has had a deposit it always will, whetherr or not you find it just depends on your prospecting skill and sensors, i.e. If you're 5 comp ops and have 12 hogs your chance of finding a deposit when prospecting a tile that has previously had a deit depleted is 100% whereas if it's anything less than this you may not find one.

Is that correct? (Syn has said it is not but I vaugley remember Kyle confirminng it was in Avances forums a few years back. i may be wrong here)
