Is the race deadline related to selecting the new skills aswell or the undecided can take some time to think about this ?

Nothing about this in the simnews - but I'm asking just in case.

AFAIK, when you change race, it auto-resets your skills as a "side-effect" of the transformation. I believe it functionally works just as the skills-reset from a few months ago did, where until you assign all the skills, you're effectively at 0's across the board.

IIRC as well, when that happens, you end up having to basically do Character creation again before assigning your Level-Up SPs (since the Skill Point costs at character creation are different from the 1, 1, 2, 3, 5 skill point costs at level-up).
