So I was crunching the numbers and, it seems that cybernetic surgery is very difficult to successfully complete. Even with 5 in medical, having 5 droids with 3 in medical skill each, doing the easiest cybernetic installation possible, and performing the surgery on Coruscant (66.800% civilization level) the formula looks like this:

Formula:

round(1 + (Skill * 4.5) + (Bonus / 2.5) + Install * (0.5 * CivilationLevel * 2.2))

Optimal values:

(Medical) Skill=5

Bonus (i.e. helpers. 5 maximum allowed and the best droid helpers have +3 each) = 15

Install (most of them are the same) = 30

CivilizationLevel (Corsucant) = 66.800% AKA .66800

With optimal values filled in:

round(1+(5*4.5)+((5*3)/2.5)+30*(.5*.66800*2.2))

= 52

So the best surgeons in the galaxy with the best helper droids on a super civilized planet would basically have a 50:50 chance of successfully making a cybernetic implant.

Am I doing the math correctly? Is this how the numbers should be put in?

Realistically, the chances have to be better than that... right?
