No. I had wanted to allow IFF exceptions, but after some discussion it seems more reasonable to not show anyone your location just because they're you're friends. Plus IFF doesn't allow sufficient control over who you consider friendly, at the moment.
We're working on making GPS trackers work which would allow you to see the location of an entity on your datapad, even if they don't show up on scanners, so that you know where people are in some kind of coordinated activity. This seems a bit more realistic than being able to see perfectly camouflaged people as well.
