Hi,

I have found the following formula for working out the cost of ship prouduction but I don't understand all the variables correctly.

What i am after is the worst case cost base of if I have a sjipyard in Deep Space.

Per the rule page
Cost = round((RMP * (1.5 - (0.5 * (Morale - Crime))) * Random) * Quantity * Mass Production Factor + ((RMP * Tax Level) * Quantity)

Since i am a assuming deep space there is not Moral or Crime rates (=0) so the formular changes to
=Cost = round((RMP * (1.5 - 0)) * Random) * Quantity * Mass Production Factor + ((RMP * 0l) * Quantity)

Can someone help me out with what each of these variables is so I cam work out what my costs are?

Cheers
Bel

In deep space Moral = 0 Crime =1
Cost = round((RMP * (1.5 - (0.5 * (Morale - Crime))) * Random) * Quantity * Mass Production Factor + ((RMP * Tax Level) * Quantity))

Worse case would be
round(RMP * (1.5 - (0.5 * (0 - 1))) * 1.3) * Quantity * Mass Production Factor + ((RMP * Tax Level) * Quantity))

reduced
round (RMP * 2.6) * Quantity * Mass Production Factor + Quantity

Not sure why it states moral crime and tax is 0 in deep space. Last I checked it was Moral =0 Crime = 1 and tax = 0

RMP = Raw Material Cost
Quantity is how many you are producing
Mass Production Factor is unknown. It doesnt tell you how to calculate those.
