Before I even ask this question, I know Hal will probably tell me to shut up and do something useful, but I can't, my lame excuse is that I know nothing of programing, I'm a chemist, I call up tech support to install patches for Gods sake. Ok, anyway, Just wondering if the ship production testing is linked with the return of CP ships? If so, cool, I hear there is great headway on that. If not, may I ask when the details may be coming togeather so that CP ship spawning would be available again? I hate to ask, I know there is much behind the scenes work going on, and you are doing a great job at it. :)
It's impossible to know for sure.
The only that can be said with some certainty is that you'll be able to get CP ships again when the ship stats review is done.
Zao, you probably don't want to mention needing to call tech support for patches, again. It's embarrassing for the rest of us. ;P
But simply, if you kept up more on the Sim News you'd have seen that the CP ships are disabled pending the shipstats revision. As a personal guess from what I've seen, the shipstats revision is probably about 60% done at this time, waiting on Redbat to get done with some exams before the other 40% can be finished. Once the shipstats are done, the CP list and prices will be revised to match with the new stats, and the CP ships will be available once again.

Well, yeah, the stats do need to be done before Production. But it's linked to the stats revision, and not because of the Production beta that's ongoing. The production test could be completely successful, and the CP ships would still be down if the revision was still going. =D
