Ktil II is one of the ocean worlds in the Ktil System of the Ktilac Regions. The surface of Ktil II is mostly covered by vast oceans, which are full of diverse life. Wide grasslands and dense forests can also be found on the surface of this diverse planet, as well as some volcanic, desert, and glacier regions. Ktil II has a breathable atmosphere and a warm climate. Along with Ktil V and Planet Ktil, Ktil II makes up a triangle of planets where any sentient being would love to call home. Of these three planets, Ktil II is the closets to the sun, giving it the warmest temperature.

Ktil II has five major civilized regions in the middle of the planet, with the capital city of Technopolis being the largest. There are few signs of an ancient civilization that once populated the Ktil system found on Ktil II. Some researchers believe that the civilization began to decline after it colonized Planet Ktil, and their attempt to establish themselves on Ktil II was a complete failure. Ktil II has the largest tourist attraction in the Ktil system - a resort-like city - built right beside the ocean, known as Oceanside. This resort was based on the similar resort found on Ktil V which was constructed by the order of the Viceroy of the Trade Federation.
